The Barrie Soccer Club (BSC) is the largest community club in Barrie, which is located approximately one hour north of Toronto on Lake Simcoe's Kempenfelt Bay. This rapidly growing city, with a population of 135,000, is also considered the gateway to cottage country and the Muskokas.

Soccer in Canada continues to be the number one participant sport with 350,000 players currently in the Province of Ontario alone. Over the past 6 years, soccer has grown by over 40% with almost an equal split between male and female participation (60/40). Soccer has been accepted as a family viewed and enjoyed sport, while becoming one of the more popular leisure-time images used in corporate marketing material.

As the largest professionally run community group in Northern Ontario, the Barrie Soccer Club is positioned to offer exceptional promotion of products and services to their members and their families, coaches, referees, volunteers and fans alike.

The BSC aims to enhance the enjoyment of the game for their members. Many of their programs incorporate a "Commitment to Development" philosophy that aims to foster improvements with the coaching program, player development initiative, recruitment of referees, our facilities, and the general infrastructure of the club.
